CONCEPT PREVIEW  /  Lessons are in educator and safety review; every example is scripted. Join the parent waitlist to hear when it opens.

An honest explanation

Planned AI feedback, with clear boundaries.

This page describes a planned feature. No live AI feedback exists in this preview, and real student input remains disabled until consent, privacy, provider, and safety gates all pass review.

What the feedback is planned to do

  • Check only the actual task. Each lesson's prompt and rubric form a fixed task snapshot. The feedback evaluates that snapshot — so a one-sentence thesis task never triggers demands for an introduction, a hook, or five paragraphs.
  • Name one strength and one next step. Not a wall of corrections, and not a rewritten answer.
  • Keep the student as the writer. Feedback offers a question or a different-topic example. It is not designed to produce a finished assignment a student could submit.

What it will not do

  • No letter grades and no score presented as a school grade.
  • No judgment of your child as a writer — feedback addresses the piece of writing in front of it, for this task.
  • No hidden inference about ability from typing speed, pauses, or accessibility use.

AI can be wrong

Automated feedback can misread a draft or apply the rubric incorrectly. A dispute route is planned so students and parents can flag feedback that seems wrong; disputed items are excluded from skill evidence rather than silently counted.

Why the scripted demo accepts no input

The sample on this site uses prepared fictional responses only. That is deliberate: until consent, privacy, provider, and safety reviews are complete, no student writing is sent to any AI service.

The feedback experience described here is planned, not released. The scripted examples on this site show the intended interaction, not measured results.
